IHG is to open the Hotel Indigo Dubai in The Sustainable City, a new urban project that is described as “Dubai’s first sustainable integrated development”. According to IHG, the hotel will be a Net Zero energy building. All energy will be from solar power. All waste and waste water will be recycled. And a solar powered by will be available to connect guests to downtown Dubai.
