The World Tourism Organization is working to convert the UNWTO Global Code of Ethics for Tourism into an international Convention, in order to increase the commitment of all stakeholders to its principles.
The 2017 African Responsible Tourism Awards, sponsored by WESGRO and organised by Better Tourism Africa, has moved into the 2nd round with over 30 tourism organisations, all demonstrating the power of responsible tourism in Africa, vying for top spots at the awards ceremony at WTM Africa in April.
