Anna Pollock, the founder of the sustainable tourism consultancy Conscious Travel and winner of the Visionary of the Year Award from the Canadian tourism industry, is to deliver the keynote speech at this year’s Mekong Tourism Forum. The theme of this year’s event is “Prosper with Purpose”, and Anna’s speech is titled “Passion + Purpose = Prosperity.”
“Her strength is her ability to see the whole “big picture” and help others make sense of their rapidly and dramatically changing world,” explained Mekong Tourism Coordinating Office (MTCO) Executive Director Jens Thraenhart. “Ms Pollock’s work is very much in line with the unique model of MTF 2017”.
The Mekong Tourism Forum is designed to provide a cooperative platform for stakeholders in the tourism industry to discuss the development, marketing and promotion of travel to, from and within the Greater Mekong Subregion. This year the forum takes place in Luang Prabang, Laos from 6-9 June, 2017.
