ISTO's working group on accessible tourism wishes to meet regularly and invites other members to join. Their current priority is to identify and share specific health measures that have been adopted in various countries and regions for people with disabilities.
Given the pressing need to promote positive economic impacts while also conserving natural heritage, a free online training platform has been launched. āSustainable Tourism: Training for Tomorrowā aims to increase the quality, supply and accessibility of training in sustainable tourism for Protected Area stakeholders across Europe.
The UNās key tourism related agencies will all be participating, along with WHO and the main representatives of the airline and maritime transportation sectors, as well as the private sector.
