The thin white clouds that planes draw across the sky are the largest contributor to aviation’s climate impact. The study says their heat-trapping impact will triple by 2050.
The UK Parliament fast-tracked an amendment to the Climate Change Act 2008, on 12 June, to cut carbon emissions to net zero by 2050 - in just 30 years’ time.
