The 14th edition of the UNWTO Awards announced thatTurismo de Portugal (Portugal), Ecotourism Trust (India), Tryponyu (Indonesia) and SEGGITUR (Spain) were the winners. Fourteen projects out of 128 applicants from 55 countries were short-listed as finalists of the 14th UNWTO Awards.
The winning projects were divided into four categories – Public Policy and Governance, Research and Technology, Enterprises, and Non-governmental Organizations. The announcement was made at the UNWTO Awards ceremony held in Madrid during the International Tourism Trade Fair in Spain (FITUR).
