Entries for the Skål International awards must be in before 30th June 2015. The eight categories of awards are: tour operators, urban accommodation, rural accommodation, transportation, countryside, marine, community and government projects, and major tourist attractions. SKAL International is “the Global Organisation for Professionals in the Travel, Tourism and Hospitality industries”.

1: Winners will be announced at the 2015 Skål World Congress, taking place in Mombasa, Kenya, in October 2015.
2: The Awards sponsor is Diversey Care, which works in guest hygiene, food safety and environmental stewardship for the hospitality and hotels sector
3: Each application will be judged on how they offer “tangible, measureable benefits to the environment, enhance business, and the society and communities in which they operate”.
