To this end, the initial Kenyan Manual and tools were adapted to the Thai context and realities. 20 hotels in Thailand have worked with Kuoni to become Water Champions.<\/p>\n<p>However, so universal are many of the recommendations in the guide that they could be used by hotels across the world.<\/p>\n<h6>In brief<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li>The manual is split into seven sections:\u00a0Planning, Data Collection, Cost Benefit Analysis, Defining the Action Plan, Monitoring, Training Staff and Creating Customer Awareness.<\/li>\n<li>Participants in the Kuoni Water Champion program in Thailand rapidly reaped benefits.\u00a0One hotel found that implementing water saved amounted to 25,000 m3 per year, equivalent to nearly 10% of the hotel\u2019s total water consumption.<\/li>\n<li>At the Amari Watergate, implementation of the water management\u00a0plan\u00a0reduced water usage from 720 litres to 600 litres per bednight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>In Depth<\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li><a
