We might expect to see greater concern for personal health, fear of getting stranded, newfound <a href=\"https:\/\/skift.com\/2020\/04\/03\/feds-come-to-rescue-of-flyers-with-hardball-mandate-to-u-s-airlines-on-refunds\/\">focus on payment and cancellation policies<\/a>, reduced travel budgets, and who knows what other attitudes may form \u2014 \u201cis that product really right for me after what I\u2019ve seen on TV?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tourism is resilient. <a href=\"https:\/\/skift.com\/2020\/04\/06\/it-is-april-2025-what-would-your-letter-about-the-last-5-years-of-travel-say\/\">All of us say it because it\u2019s true<\/a>. Sometimes we say it three weeks after a volcano resumes its normal slumber. Other times we say it three years after a massive earthquake or a terrorist attack. The timelines vary, but resilience prevails. But once-in-102-year pandemics are different. Travelers will travel again because they always do, but the industry has much to adjust for.
