Muchas ciudades, costas y pueblos del mundo est\u00e1n apostando por el turismo responsable, gracias al impulso y apoyo de empresas y tambi\u00e9n de las comunidades locales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un claro ejemplo es Siem Reap, en Camboya, donde se localizan los famosos templos de&nbsp;<strong>Angkor<\/strong>. Esta peque\u00f1a localidad, que en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os ha visto crecer exponencialmente la afluencia de turistas, trabaja para convertirse en destino ecol\u00f3gico. Lo tienen claro.&nbsp;<strong>El turismo debe ser sostenible y el dinero que genera la actividad tiene que beneficiar a la comunidad local.<\/strong> Algunas iniciativas para conseguirlo son:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>CUENTA CON UN ORGANISMO DE TURISMO ECOL\u00d3GICO (CTB). Una instituci\u00f3n integrada por empresas locales que garantiza las buenas pr\u00e1cticas tur\u00edsticas y que trabaja para que los beneficios se reviertan en la comunidad.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>HOTELES ECOL\u00d3GICOS Y &#8216;PLASTIC FREE&#8217;. El Anjali by Syphon ofrece a sus clientes estaci\u00f3n de refill de agua y venta de botellas reutilizables de acero inoxidable.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>ESTACIONES DE RECARGA DE AGUA POR TODA LA CIUDAD. El proyecto RefillNotLandfill, que se est\u00e1 extendiendo por todo el Sudeste Asi\u00e1tico, cuenta con multitud de empresas afiliadas. Llenar la botella de agua potable es f\u00e1cil, c\u00f3modo y adem\u00e1s gratis.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>MERCADOS DE PRODUCTOS LOCALES. La comunidad local lucha contra las importaciones chinas que inundan muchos de los mercadillos del mundo. Por eso han creado, entre otros, el Made in Cambodia Market, donde artistas y artesanos de Siem Reap venden sus propios productos, y a buen precio.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>MEJOR A GRANEL. La venta de productos a granel es otra de las grandes apuestas ecol\u00f3gicas de Siem Reap. Babel Ecoshop es una de las tiendas en las que los viajeros pueden comprar a granel champ\u00fa, detergente, repelente de mosquitos y muchos otros productos.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>ARTESAN\u00cdA DESDE LA BASURA. La limpieza de bolsas de pl\u00e1stico en las calles y la venta de productos reciclados es el latemotiv de Rehas Trash, una organizaci\u00f3n que beneficia a mujeres de Siem Reap en situaci\u00f3n de especial vulnerabilidad. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>El ejemplo de <strong>Siem Reap<\/strong>, viene a constatar que no se trata de concebir una nueva forma de entender la naturaleza y la actividad econ\u00f3mica, sino de&nbsp;<strong>volver a conectar con ella y de rescatar el valor de la comunidad,&nbsp;<\/strong>como ya se hac\u00eda en el pasado.
