El premio TO DO Awards nace en el 1995 con el objetivo de reconocer la implicaci\u00f3n de las empresas tur\u00edsticas que trabajan por involucrar a la poblaci\u00f3n local en la planificaci\u00f3n e implementaci\u00f3n de sus experiencias en turismo y contribuir a las econom\u00edas locales sostenibles, recibi\u00f3 en la fase final 19 candidaturas de 3 continentes distintos, Am\u00e9rica Latina, \u00c1frica y Asia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Women in Tourism<\/strong> es el proyecto que ha convertido a Open Eyes en la primera empresa espa\u00f1ola en ganar los premios To Do Awards 2019. Este proyecto nace tras 7 a\u00f1os de trabajo dise\u00f1ando y creando experiencias con mujeres en India. La iniciativa engloba varias experiencias que buscan, no solo la paridad laboral entre sexos sino, una transformaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s profunda, enfocadas en aportar y reconocer los valores femeninos en el turismo en India.<\/p>\n<p>En India, ser mujer significa pertenecer a una de las comunidades m\u00e1s vulnerables, y la desigualdad incrementa si se trata de mujeres que viven en zonas rurales o tienen alguna discapacidad f\u00edsica. Mujeres terapeutas invidentes que conectan con los cuerpos y mentes de nuestros viajeros en los <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wellnessretreatsindia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"retiros de bienestar (opens in a new tab)\">retiros de bienestar<\/a>, mujeres artesanas que te ense\u00f1an el arte del blockprinting, mientras haces tu propio pa\u00f1uelo en una <a href=\"http:\/\/openeyesproject.com\/moda-etica\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" label=\"inmersi\u00f3n cultural en la zona rural del Rajhastan (opens in a new tab)\">inmersi\u00f3n cultural en la zona rural del Rajhastan<\/a> o descubrir las historias que hay detr\u00e1s de mujeres taxistas y gu\u00edas en un nuestro tour llamado <a href=\"http:\/\/openeyesproject.com\/en\/spice-girls-tour-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" label=\"\u201cSpice girls tour\u201d (opens in a new tab)\">\u201cSpice girls tour\u201d<\/a> o el <a href=\"http:\/\/openeyesproject.com\/en\/world-woman-tour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" label=\"\u201cWoman World Tour\u201d (opens in a new tab)\">\u201cWoman World Tour\u201d<\/a> en la capital de India. Experiencias que son, sin duda, un gran cambio en este pa\u00eds con una s\u00f3lida cultura patriarcal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/287686608\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Women in Tourism (opens in a new tab)\">Women in Tourism<\/a> est\u00e1 formado por mujeres innovadoras como Laxmi y Neha, que han sido formadas como terapeutas por la Asociaci\u00f3n Nacional de Invidentes, y trabajan en los viajes de <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/233639228\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Bienestar en los Himalayas (opens in a new tab)\">Bienestar en los Himalayas<\/a>. O como Meena, una de las 12 mujeres formada como gu\u00eda por Open Eyes, que rompe estereotipos trabajando como gu\u00eda y taxista mientras su marido cuida de sus hijos y hace las labores de casa. En India, el 5% representa el gremio de gu\u00edas. Open Eyes crea oportunidades para que mujeres trabajen en este sector.<\/p>\n<p>Open Eyes es una empresa social de turismo que organiza viajes a India desde el 2011 creando experiencias con sentido,
