U<\/span>na red de peque\u00f1os hoteles y touroperadores en El Salvador ha dejado de lado el uso de desechables a base de poliestireno y de las pajillas, adem\u00e1s de inculcar la cultura de volver a llenar las botellas con agua para que sean utilizadas m\u00e1s de una vez, con la idea de fomentar el turismo sostenible, lo cual ha \u201cencantado\u201d a los turistas nacionales y extranjeros.<\/p>\n

Pascal Lebailly, propietario del Hotel Los Almendros de San Lorenzo, ubicado en Suchitoto, dej\u00f3 de usar las botellas de pl\u00e1stico desde hace cinco a\u00f1os, introduciendo un filtro de ozono para el agua y de esa manera disminuyeron el uso de unas 720 botellas de pl\u00e1stico al mes.<\/p>\n

Adem\u00e1s, dichos hoteles han eliminado las pajillas de pl\u00e1stico en sus refrescos, aunque el 40 % de los clientes siguen pidi\u00e9ndola, afirma. Los meseros tienen la indicaci\u00f3n de explicar que no se brinda pajilla por el cuidado del medio ambiente, el 60 % de los clientes lo comprende y acepta.<\/p>\n

Los empresarios tambi\u00e9n han implementado removedores de bamb\u00fa en el bar para sustituir los de pl\u00e1stico.<\/p>\n
