MyEarthCheck, a cloud solution with a centralised reporting platform, allows both quantitative and qualitative information to be brought together in one place.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEarthCheck has always believed that you can\u2019t manage what you don\u2019t measure,\u201d EarthCheck Founder and CEO Stewart Moore said. \u201cSimply saying that you care or saying that you are committed to action is no longer good enough.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For tourism enterprises the challenge many have faced until now is integrating their initiatives and having a consistent set of organisation wide sustainability metrics (social, environmental and economic) which will allow them to track, monitor and benchmark their achievements over time. By working with EarthCheck, German tourism businesses will be able to measure, report and manage their environmental and social management processes across their organisation.<\/p>\n<p>The MyEarthCheck platform assists members to measure, monitor and make ongoing improvements in five key performance areas including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Energy Consumption<\/li>\n<li>Greenhouse Gas Emissions<\/li>\n<li>Potable Water Consumption<\/li>\n<li>Waste Generation<\/li>\n<li>Community Commitments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cEvery business should commit to collecting sufficient data to understand their operational footprint. This data needs to be accurately collected and benchmarked to allow the organisation to understand how they are performing against their peers and their own business plan expectations,\u201d Mr Moore
