100 hect\u00e1reas de su territorio donde se incluye su centro ceremonial, parte de la Red Mundial de Sitios Sagrados Naturales por la UNESCO y \u00c1rea Natural Protegida por el gobierno mexicano para la creaci\u00f3n de un desarrollo tur\u00edstico.<\/p>\n<p>Lo anterior es un problema grave para la comunidad Wix\u00e1rika que ahora se encuentra impedida para acceder a rendir culto a Tatei Haramara, uno de los cinco centros ceremoniales sagrados de este grupo ind\u00edgena.<\/p>\n<p>El despojo que inici\u00f3 en 2011, durante los gobiernos de Felipe Calder\u00f3n y Roberto Sandoval, ha culminado con la venta de las tierras sagradas a dos empresas, Desarrollos Tur\u00edsticos Para\u00edso del Rey y Desarrollos Tur\u00edsticos Haramara, para construir un desarrollo con hoteles de lujo, escalera n\u00e1utica y pista de aterrizaje.<\/p>\n<p>Por medio de sus usos y costumbres, la comunidad Wix\u00e1rika ha manejado de manera sustentable su territorio por cientos de a\u00f1os, por lo que llamaron a respetar su cosmogon\u00eda y su derecho a la libre determinaci\u00f3n. \u201cNosotros no desobedecemos las reglas, es por eso que nos preguntamos, \u00bfsi nosotros respetamos, por
