Marriott is one of the first companies signed up to the Chemical Footprint Project, whose assessment tool has been developed to provide a common metric for publicly benchmarking chemical use and management. \u201cWe recognize the challenge of\u00a0moving to safer chemicals requires innovative solutions,\u201d said Brad Colton<\/strong>, Marriott\u2019s Senior Director of Strategic Projects and Global Procurement. \u201cThe Chemical Footprint Project\u2019s focus on assessing and improving chemical\u00a0management practices provides a way to engage our suppliers and drive improvement throughout our supply chain.\u201d\u00a0Currently it is the only tourism company involved.<\/p>\n
