I<\/span>n an effort to grow sustainable coastal and marine tourism (CMT) in South Africa, which will advance the\u00a0Nine-Point Plan<\/a>\u00a0through\u00a0Operation Phakisa’s Oceans Economy<\/a>, the Cabinet – in partnership with various tourism stakeholders, including the Department of Tourism and the Minister of Tourism, Tokiozile Xasa – will see South Africa’s competitive advantage in nature, culture and heritage, leveraged.<\/div>\n

Welcomed by Xasa, the CMT plan will be implemented in a nodal or cluster approach which will prioritise destinations rather than individual tourism projects or products.<\/div>\n
