T<\/span>housands of tourists have pledged to behave responsibly on their travels in Iceland since a campaign run by tourism promotion site Inspired by Iceland kicked off on Friday, reports\u00a0R\u00daV<\/a><\/em>\u00a0. As of this morning, nearly 7,000 people had taken the pledge.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Icelandic Pledge<\/a>\u00a0is designed to promote responsible tourism. The campaign encourages people to pledge to not risking life and limb in the pursuit of a good photo and not answering the call of nature on nature, among other things.<\/p>\n
