I<\/span>nvestigadores del Laboratorio de An\u00e1lisis e Innovaci\u00f3n Tur\u00edstica (LAInnTUR) de la Universidad de Ja\u00e9n (UJA) defienden la necesidad de reorientar la oferta tur\u00edstica de destinos sostenibles hacia un segmento de demanda con altos niveles de inteligencia sostenible<\/i>, concepto que se refiere al nivel de compromiso, conocimiento y comportamiento del turista respecto a la sostenibilidad.<\/p>\n

“Durante mucho tiempo, el concepto de sostenibilidad se vincul\u00f3 exclusivamente a cuestiones ambientales, pero su definici\u00f3n, adem\u00e1s, tiene que ver con la eficiencia econ\u00f3mica y equidad social, de manera que el propio territorio aproveche el desarrollo tur\u00edstico en su entorno”, ha explicado Juan Ignacio Pulido, profesor del Departamento de Econom\u00eda y director del LAInnTUR, adem\u00e1s de uno de los autores del trabajo junto a la investigadora Yaiza L\u00f3pez.<\/p>\n

El estudio trata de comprender las preferencias heterog\u00e9neas de los turistas para destinos sostenibles, determinar su actitud hacia la sostenibilidad e identificar variables explicativas que influyen en la disposici\u00f3n a pagar para disfrutar de un destino m\u00e1s sostenible.<\/p>\n
