The principle Allemansr\u00e4tten, which is protected by\u00a0Swedish<\/a>\u00a0law and literally translates to \u201cfreedom to roam\u201d allows anyone to camp anywhere in the country \u2013 even on other people\u2019s property. Because the government wants people to feel at home wherever they are in Sweden, the entire country was recently listed on Airbnb.<\/p>\n

The AirBnB listing\u00a0reads<\/a>, \u201cSwedish\u00a0nature<\/a>\u00a0isn\u2019t just a piece of land with trees and lakes and cliffs \u2013 it\u2019s a home with all the necessities and amenities that any great home should have. It\u2019s a place where you can eat berries from the ground, sleep under the stars, swim in the lakes and roam freely. To make this home available for everyone, Sweden has listed the entire country on\u00a0Airbnb<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
