Why Wales is up for the challenge\" width=\"518\" height=\"245\" srcset=\"https:\/\/travindy.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/cardiff635-300x142.jpg 300w, https:\/\/travindy.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/cardiff635.jpg 635w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 518px) 100vw, 518px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c<span class=\"wpsdc-drop-cap\">W<\/span>e hope that what Wales is doing today, the world will do tomorrow.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In 2015\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sustainabledevelopment.un.org\/content\/dsd\/dsd\/dsd_direbiog.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Nikhil Seth<\/strong><\/a>, a leading UN representative, hailed the Welsh Government\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/gov.wales\/topics\/people-and-communities\/people\/future-generations-act\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Well-being of Future Generations Act<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0as a pioneering piece of legislation, saying it captured the essence of two decades\u2019 worth of UN work in the field of sustainable development.<\/p>\n<p>Two years on, and the Act is still considered somewhat groundbreaking.
