Todo el mundo habla de turismo sostenible \u00bfes un concepto muy gastado?<\/strong><\/p>\n

La idea es v\u00e1lida pero, debido a que es un concepto muy abstracto, es muy f\u00e1cil que empresas y destinos abusen de \u00e9l. Y tampoco existe la demanda.<\/p>\n

\u00bfAh no?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Si t\u00fa le preguntas al turista \u201c\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el turismo sostenible?\u201d no te lo sabr\u00e1 decir. Quiz\u00e1 lo que deber\u00edamos hacer es usar algo menos esa palabra y desglosarla en temas que el cliente entienda.<\/p>\n

\u00bfPor ejemplo?<\/strong><\/p>\n

El asunto de sostenibilidad que m\u00e1s interesa al cliente brit\u00e1nico es el origen de los alimentos y el desperdicio de la comida, seg\u00fan una encuesta llevada a cabo por TUI. Por tanto, entra por ah\u00ed y una vez has ganado la confianza del cliente, h\u00e1blale de otras cosas.<\/p>\n

\u00bfEl ahorro de costes es la v\u00eda para atraer los hoteleros a la sostenibilidad?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hilton en Europa ha reducido sus gastos operacionales en 11 millones de d\u00f3lares anuales recortando sus gastos de energ\u00eda y agua. \u00a1Y con un equipo de s\u00f3lo tres personas trabajando en sostenibilidad!<\/p>\n

Est\u00e1 claro que es necesario renovar calderas, mejorar el aislamiento de las paredes, cambiar las m\u00e1quinas de aire acondicionado… En definitiva, tener un equipamiento que est\u00e9 actualizado y lo m\u00e1s avanzado posible, pues el coste se compensa mucho por los menores gastos operativos.<\/p>\n

Ahora que dice esto, las facturas de la luz, agua y gas preocupan mucho a los hoteleros espa\u00f1oles…<\/strong><\/p>\n

En efecto, no dejan de subir \u00bfpero qu\u00e9 estamos haciendo en Espa\u00f1a? Para compensar por estas subida de gastos tratamos a los trabajadores peor: les pagamos menos y contratamos m\u00e1s en pr\u00e1cticas, con mayor precariedad… Esto es reactivo, no proactivo. Si en los a\u00f1os en que a Turqu\u00eda le va mal no invertimos \u00bfcuando se supone que lo vamos a hacer?<\/p>\n
