Indigenous tourism and cultural immersion experiences\u2014especially those with culinary components\u2014are white hot. For culturally AND culinary-minded meanderers, food tourism has evolved into a mission critical travel consideration.<\/p>\n

Exemplifying this is data from\u00a0Venngage<\/a>\u00a0underscoring the importance of food in travel, revealing that over a third of tourism spending is devoted to food. In fact, nearly three fourths of millennials\u201469.4 percent\u2014are \u201cfood & cuisine driven travelers,\u201d according to a Destination Analysts, Inc.\u00a0study<\/a>, which also revealed baby boomers are like-minded at 62.7 percent.<\/p>\n
