A<\/span>lberto Guti\u00e9rrez Uriarte ha sido recientemente elegido nuevo presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n Espa\u00f1ola de Directores de Hotel. Actualmente dirige un hotel de 5 estrellas en el centro de Bilbao. De su trayectoria profesional destaca su labor como director de la Escuela de Hosteler\u00eda de Artxanda.<\/p>\n

En una entrevista reciente en Deia,<\/a> ante la pregunta de cu\u00e1l debe ser el modelo a seguir, referente al turismo en Bilbao, Guti\u00e9rrez Uriarte indica:<\/p>\n

En cuanto a n\u00famero de turistas hay que ir m\u00e1s hacia un tipo Venecia. Pero lo que tenemos que avanzar es hacia un turismo de calidad, hacerlo sostenible e incrementar el gasto por turista en la medida que sea posible.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
