For the last few months we&#8217;ve been working with <a href=\"\/?page_id=311\" target=\"_blank\">three Spanish-language responsible tourism experts<\/a> to create an equivalent site to Travindy for the vast Spanish market.<\/p>\n<p>The underlying principle is the same as for the original English version. Travindy Espanol brings together all the best Spanish-language news and comment about responsible tourism in one place.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As \u00c1ngela Rodr\u00edguez, Gabriela Alvarado and Pablo Pereira, our three new editors, explain: &#8220;the international arrivals have grown by 4.4% in 2015, reaching 1,184 million tourists. We need to bring as much information as possible to the tourism industry about how to better address social, environmental, economic and governance issues in our daily operations. Travindy Espanol will be the place to find the most important news on these subjects from around the world.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In addition to curating\u00a0essential Spanish language news; where there is no Spanish article but there is a story that needs to be read, our writers will\u00a0translate news and comment\u00a0from our original\u00a0English language website. We will also be doing the same the other way round, translating sto<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10270 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/travindy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/Screen-Shot-2016-04-12-at-18.49.38.png\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2016-04-12 at 18.49.38\" width=\"344\" height=\"209\" \/>ries appearing on our\u00a0Spanish site that you might not otherwise have had the chance to read.<\/p>\n<p>There are also a new dedicated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/travindy.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook page<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Travindy_ES\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter account<\/a> focussed only\u00a0on the Spanish version.
