Responsible Tourism Networking Group launches on Travel Massive

Travel massive responsible tourism chapter

At the World Travel Market London 2007 some of us got together under the initiative of The Blue Yonder and Tripbod to bring together those interested in Responsible Tourism.

A fringe event in a London pub has now grown into an annual event at the world’s largest travel shows like ITB-Berlin and WTM. Along with those events, a Facebook Responsible Tourism Networking group was created, which now has over 14,000 members.

Last month, Travindy was part of taking this to the next stage, with the launch of a dedicated Responsible Tourism Chapter on networking platform Travel Massive.

Just as with the live events and the Facebook group, the aim of this community is to bring together a global network of travel innovators, social entrepreneurs, start ups and enthusiasts working to “create better places for people to live and for people to visit.”

It is still very much in its infancy, but as we grow our membership, we will be able to run online discussions and events, meet potential partners and collaborators, and much more besides.

Anyone interested in these aims is encouraged to sign up here.
