Airbus Group’s all-electric E-Fan technology demonstrator aircraft has just flown from Lydd Airport on England’s south coast to Calais Airport, potentially heralding a new era in sustainable aviation. According to GreenAir online, “The E-Fan is a key element in the European aircraft manufacturer’s electric aircraft roadmap towards achieving emission-free and almost noiseless flight.”
