Radisson Blu launches Blu Planet towel reuse initiative

The Radisson Blu hotel chain has launched a Blu Planet, a new towel reuse initiative where the company will donate to the Just a Drop water charity for every time a guest chooses not to have their towel laundered.

Grab the essentials

1: Through the partnership with Just a Drop, Radisson Blu hopes to ensure 12,000 children have access to fresh drinking water each year.

2: Between 2007 and 2012, Radisson Blu reduced water use in its hotels in Europe, Middle East and Africa by 27 per cent.

3: In research conducted by the partnership, just six per cent of hotel guests said they would like fresh towels supplied daily. 24 per cent said they would be happy to use towels for four days between laundering.
